Grossmont Community College was the first CC in San Diego to partner with PLNU to bring the high quality of our nursing program into the community college classroom. This arrangement allows students to access the same quality education as our traditional undergraduate nursing program, while studying at the campus closest to them and maintaining their work/life/school balance.
RN to BSN: There is high demand for nurses in California, and a growing need for opportunities for nurses to get the education they need to advance their careers. A national study by the Institute of Medicine recommends that by 2020, eight out of 10 nurses should have a bachelor’s degree to meet the nation’s healthcare needs.
PLNU has partnered with Grossmont Community College to help nurses complete their education and advance in their profession. This provides a path to a stable and fulfilling career.
