Palomar Community College has served San Diego’s North county region since 1946, offering a variety of degree and certificate options. PLNU partners with Palomar to offer students access to the same Nursing and Child development classes that our traditional undergraduate students receive while attending classes at the Palomar campus.
RN to BSN: There is high demand for nurses in California, and a growing need for opportunities for nurses to get the education they need to advance their careers. A national study by the Institute of Medicine recommends that by 2020, eight out of 10 nurses should have a bachelor’s degree to meet the nation’s healthcare needs.
PLNU has partnered with Palomar College to help nurses complete their education and advance in their profession. This provides a path to a stable and fulfilling career. CAD: To best serve children and their families, you need to understand that entire cycle of child development, from infant to adolescent. With a BA in Child Development, you’ll be prepared to advance in a variety education and child care related careers, and you’ll have the degree to back it up.
